Locate mode – The Locate mode is for tracking and locating the tracking tags which you attach to the child, patient, pet or other valuable you want to keep track of.   The tags are attached to the child, patient, pet or other valuable beforehand and labeled in the locator to identify each child, patient, pet or other valuable with a particular tracking tag.  To locate the child, patient, pet or other valuable, simply select from a drop down list on your handheld locator which tag you want to locate.   Directional audio and visual indicators from the handheld will guide you to the exact location of the missing tag.   It should only take you minutes (even seconds) to find the child, patient, pet or other valuable that would normally have you hunting around for hours and maybe never find them at all.  With amazing accuracy you will be guided to within an 1 inch (2.5cm) whether you are indoors or out, in complete darkness or in a noisy room.   To find the child, patient, pet or other valuable turn around in a full circle then walk in the direction the handheld indicates has the strongest signal – It’s as easy as that!!!

Alert mode – The Alert mode helps prevent the loss of a child, patient, pet or other valuable by alerting you when the tracking tag attached to them move beyond a preset distance from the handheld locator.   The Alert mode enables an invisible boundary to be set around the Loc8tor (the handheld locator in your possession) and warns the moment any tagged child, patient, pet or other valuable goes out of your preset safety zone with a vibration alert, audio alarm and handheld display showing which child, patient, pet or other valuable wandered off or was taken away.   Select from three preset safety zones - near, medium or far each of which can be further fine tuned to help define the distance required.   The Panic Tag (when used in Alert mode) contains a Panic button enabling a child or dependant to call for help.   When pressed it activates an Alert Alarm on the handheld advising which tag activated the Alarm.   This is ideal as a personal alarm to prevent a child, dependent or pet from wondering off too far in a potentially unsafe environment.
